Such a return to the God-Given Holistic (nondualistic) realm of Intelligence comes only when the conflict of duality is directly perceived and dissolved through understanding.
One cannot arrive at that realm of unbounded Consciousness through the medium of dualistic, linear, time-bound thought, yet that is exactly what Civilized Human Beings attempt to do when setting about to resolve their neverending conflict. The harder they try, the deeper they sink in their own miserable, futile attempts toward Spiritual Liberation, toward Freedom. That is the BASSACKWARD state of human consciousness in operation that I constantly refer to in my writings.
The simple solution to any matter of conflict is to remove -- through understanding, insight, and/or direct perception -- the artificially imposed Satanic matrix of thought which preserves and prolongs the dualistic energy of contradiction.
When one is able to perceive HOLISTICALLY, there are no problems. There is just "WHAT IS", and one IS THAT.
The vast majority of those who read this reside in this Intellectually-filtered, civilized society ruled by the God of dualism, SATAN; and each of you BELIEVE yourselves incapable of transcending it. It is that SELF DOUBT which accounts for your confusion, your suffering, your violence.
Were you to pay attention (observe nondualistically), in other words BE AWARE, as you proceed on your journey through life you would see that you, like every one else you know, are subject to the rule of thought because you have been trained to DOUBT yourselves in favor of RELIANCE upon thought-bound EXPERTS. In actuality, you have relegated yourself to being the BLIND who are led by the BLIND.

May I share the following *prophetic* chapter "Authority of Government." It is an excerpt from my book "Journey Beyond Thought: Breaking the Bonds of the Conditioned Mind."
I was moved to write it, ten years ago, in 1992 for all who have the "eyes to see" and possess sufficient remaining energy to act in the defense of their Constitutionally-guaranteed Freedoms and Sovereignty of their Country.
HOW ARE WE DOING, AMERICA???
Now that a foundation has been established as to how the mind functions, let's take a look at two major institutions of authority, established in the mind, which control our thinking and behavior from the cradle to our graves. Before doing so, we must lay some groundwork for the inquiry. Let's start with a couple of basic questions. Is thought, which is authored by man--the thinker, more important than man--its originator? Does thought have a life of its own, outside of the mind? Both questions are clear to an intelligent mind. The first question, however, is not clear to the average mind. Why so? you may ask. If you truly are serious about understanding your own mind, it is necessary that you face some painful truths. One such fact that must be faced is that the average mind has been trained into a state of inertia; that is, in and of itself it generally cannot initiate an inquiry into anything without first being motivated by some exterior pressure that will set the limitation of thought, start the thinking process, and signal the ending of thought. This is done in such a clever, subtle way that the mind itself is unaware that it is even happening. Consequently, the average mind is made to be dull and apathetic through this repetitive, reinforced pattern. All of the governing institutions that exist in our structured society derive their power and authority from the illusory quality of thought. They seek to, and in most cases, do control our behavior in every way imaginable.
As to the second question, it is irrefutable that thought is solely confined within the domain of the mind and cannot be found anywhere else. Therefore, the question must be asked: Can thought be true in the deepest sense? Is not this independent existence outside of the mind the very criteria for true reality to exist? If thought is not whole, and it can readily be seen that it is not, then this partial thought can only be possessed of a limited truth. A limited truth can only lead to a limited reality. It becomes the source of confusion when it is mistaken for the whole. Man has long ago lost the ability to see things clearly, to see things as they are, to have direct perception of "What IS" without twisting it, turning it into something else through the use of judgment. This twisting of the "What Is" into a partial reality, based in thought, is essentially man's fall from grace. It is the seduction into imagery that has pulled him away from his true nature, his wholeness.
We are constantly being conditioned by leaders and other psychological experts (using techniques of reward and punishment) to view our lives with a fragmented mind. It brings about a mind that has a compartmental or pigeon-hole quality in its view of "What Is." This mind can then be manipulated through our judgments of like and dislike, positive and negative, etc. I'm not just referring to the psychologists and psychiatrists but also to the advertising experts who exert dominion over the mass mind through the media. What happens when something wholistic is seen, then broken down into its opposites--positive and negative, selectively seeing only what is desired or pleasurable and rejecting that which is disturbing to the seer? Doesn't this change the whole of "What Is" into a partial, subjective reality? Doesn't this destroy the balance of our minds and cause conflict? Truth can only be seen, realized, understood. It cannot be arrived at through thinking, since thought is always of a partial nature. A partial truth is an illusion whose strength of deception lies within the seed of truth it contains.
Since man has existed on the Earth, there have been two fundamental ways in which he has been controlled by his leaders. This control over the mind has been accomplished by way of the Warrior and the Witchdoctor. The Warrior is exemplified by government with its imposition of fear into the mind through the coercive force of arms, injury, imprisonment and death. These control measures are implemented through its use of armies, police, and other coercive agencies. The Witchdoctor, the other half of the power structure, is clearly reflected in organized religions. These institutions instill fear through the use of myths, superstitions, legends, images, mysticism, and other psychological manipulative measures designed to distort the mind. Man has effectively been conditioned and controlled in his behavior by the use of both methods. In ancient times these methods were implemented through the art of story telling. In our present-day society, the conditioning of our minds is achieved through our schools, the arts, radio, TV, newspaper and magazine articles and ads.
Keep in mind that the reins of power, energy, are given up by the masses to the institutions as a consequence of their confused and fearful state of mind. The pressures of conditioning have rendered them inert. They have been fragmented out of their wholeness and have lost their self-reliance. They have given up their sovereignty as functional human beings. Diminished in their energy and self-initiative, they fall victim to their reinforced doubts, fears and confusion. Their response is to look to the source of the pressure, the leaders or institution, to lead them out of their quandary. The technique employed by the authorities in extracting the energy from the masses is at times quite threatening, yet at other times it can be found to be quite subtle and seductive. The inert mass mind is not cognizant of the techniques which control them. Consequently, the average person, who is caught up in the momentum of the mass mind, remains unaware of his true nature. This ignorance feeds the cycle of fear, hopelessness, and impotence. Thus, the masses can only resign themselves to serving the institutions of law and rule.
Regardless of what form the government assumes or what it labels itself, i.e., Democracy, Communism, Monarchy, etc., there is only the duality of the rulers and the ruled, the leaders and the led. Those men who possess greater energy take the position of ruler, while those who are corrupted and weakened, robbed of their own energy, are relegated to being led. In the realm of totalitarian, dictator, fascist governments, the straightforward and unbridled use of force and fear upon its subjects, in order to maintain control through law and order, is quite clear. In a democracy, however, control of the people is accomplished through mind control, education, and propaganda. In America these experts are currently known as "Spin Doctors" rather than propagandists.
The main tool of the politician has always been rhetoric. He conjures up images, forever promising freedom and prosperity; while, through carefully constructed legislation, he actively goes about seeking to bind his constituents, restricting, narrowing, limiting them, taking away their previously held freedoms. Naturally, the outcome of this relationship creates fear and resentment in the minds of the masses. The only outlet left open to them to release the pent-up resentment is to complain to each other. This accomplishes nothing, for they have been blocked from any real, effective action. They join with each other in forming groups which engage in useless fragmented protests: candlelight marches and other impotent symbolic gestures. This gives them the misguided feelings that they have some control over their lives. They have been conditioned to the inevitability of death and taxes. These fragmented activities keep the public serving their own self-proclaimed illusions, while the politicians go on unimpeded, fulfilling their original agenda. It is only when the resentment and anger touches a substantially organized group, or a large number of disorganized masses, that the government will accede to the demands of its citizens.
Here is one method used by politicians in restricting freedoms. Isolated events which have the potential for creating fear in the public mind are reported to the citizenry though the media, the propaganda arm of the governmental-corporate structure. An emotional atmosphere is whipped up, fragmenting the masses into groups, creating a great deal of confusion and controversy. An overcompensating solution is proposed by the politicians to get an idea of the public's reaction. A poll is taken to gauge the degree of resistance or support for the proposed legislative solution. If there is little response forthcoming, the legislation is drafted and is subsequently passed into law. If at anytime during the poll process there is moderate or great outcry against the measure, the politician shelves the legislation for a later, more appropriate, less unstable atmosphere. He patiently waits for the opportunity to reintroduce the measure, usually at a point of low public alertness, when the citizenry have returned to their comfortable sleep state. Very few laws are repealed once they have been enacted. This is so even when the legislation is no longer appropriate and the reason for its passage no longer exists. It is like an ever-expanding complex spider web, trapping everything it comes into contact with, preventing movement, encroaching upon one's space, one's freedom. Government has a need for crises to exist. This need of government for a continuum of problems to solve is used to justify its own existence. As politicians are sensitive to special interest groups through the pressures of contributions, they are in time seduced by the power and money people. They eventually find themselves in service to these interests. This splits them further in their loyalties to their constituents, those voters who put them into office believing their interests would be represented. Thus, one can see that a governmental approach to problem solving is one of division and partiality. All partial solutions to problem solving breed more problems in the wake of any particular problems resolved. Hence, a steady array of problems is always at hand for the politician to deal with, and his position is thus assured.
Fear is the primary tool which is used by government to insure its continued existence. If government were to be held to the same standards as is the private sector, it would soon be out of business. Government is the only business structure that is rewarded for not doing its job. Take crime for an example. When crime is up fear arises within the mass mind. Government exacerbates that fear through the sending out of carefully constructed press releases and scare tactics. It then suggests that if it had more of a budget, more manpower, more facilities, more equipment, more this, more that, it would be able to solve the crime problem. If their requests are not met, they go about in their enforcement activities in a selective manner, dealing largely with peripheral issues while allowing the core problem to grow. The fear level ultimately reaches a point where the public accedes to the government's demand for more money. Temporary crackdowns are periodically made, which have no real effect on crime other than to enhance the image of the government agency. This process is carried on at all levels of the government structure. The result of the repeatable process is the transference of energy from the masses to the government in the form of increased taxation. The monies are then redirected by the politicians toward peripheral, pet projects. The issues which evoke the greatest amount of fear in the masses are largely ignored so that the process may be repeated as often as is necessary.
The schism widens, causing overspending with non-existent money. This momentum increases the country's debt. It weakens the economy and disrupts the lives of the citizenry. The masses are shocked out of their false sense of prosperity by the loss of their jobs or the lowering of their wages. This economic shake-up, engineered by the multi-national elitists, has no other purpose but to bring the workers in line with the rest of the world. The citizens can no longer sustain their feeling of being superior to those in the less fortunate countries of the world. This image of superiority has been carefully cultivated into them by their leader, isolating them from the rest of the world. This places the masses in a competitive relationship with the other countries in the world economy. The anger and frustration continues to mount until the bubble bursts, revealing the falsity of the illusion that was their security. This wipes away the smugness that once was their collective consciousness. Panic sets in, only to quicken the deterioration.
When the country's internal problems can no longer be dismissed, the politician, through misdirection, focuses the attention of the masses toward an outside enemy. This is done to avoid deeper public scrutiny of their own country's inner problems. At this point we have the makings of war. War has the strange effect of pulling people together through their common fear by pointing the collective finger outwardly for the purpose of laying blame, an avoidance of self-responsibility for their own plight. This is the collective mind in the act of judgment. Mothers will readily give up their sons, sacrificing them, while taking a peculiar pride in the shedding of tears when their son's lives are lost. It somehow gives importance to their meaningless existence when their own flesh and blood is sacrificed for a cause they have no understanding of. War also restores the illusion of prosperity through the creation of defense related employment. When a person is hungry, he is not concerned with what he has to do. It is he and his family that is of the greatest concern to him. He will assist in the making of super weapons capable of wiping out large numbers of human beings in an irrevocable moment. He has been fragmented from his humanity; he does not understand the consequences of his actions. He is willing to assist in the killing process so that he and his family might live. War is also quite profitable to the corporate structure that controls the economy. The corporate leaders begin to rub their greedy hands together with glee, anticipating the impending windfall to their profits. Last, but not least, one must examine seriously the implication of the population control aspect of war. When the country is in debt, living on borrowed money; when the welfare state is overburdened, too many people, not enough jobs; young men who have not yet entered the work force, along with their older counterparts in the Armed Forces Reserve, are sacrificed on the field of battle in order to create employment opportunities otherwise not possible. War, and the selective treatment of diseases affecting particular segments of the country's populace still continue as government's strongest tools in the engineering of a future society through the implementation of population control. Look around you. This scenario is going on at the present time in the world.
A clue to imminent war can be found if one listens carefully to the change of rhetoric used by the leaders in shifting into a war mindset. They dehumanize a former ally with the label of "Monster, Butcher, Maniac," while applying words like "Courage, Duty, Responsibility, Patriotic, Heroic, Persevering, Self-sacrificing, Dedication" in referring to their own citizens. This technique is quite effective and has a profound impact upon the public's psyche. The sleepwalking, chain-step plod of the masses suddenly finds a quickening in their step. They have something to hold on to: the daydream of being a self-sacrificing hero, doing his patriotic duty in a persevering and dedicated manner. This daydream expresses all of the desirable traits that are conspicuously absent in their daily, monotonous, routine lives. These conditioned responses take root in early childhood watching the superhero cartoons, the propaganda war movies which paint a simplistic picture of right and wrong, the morality themes found in the old Westerns. This life-long pattern of conditioning is the very esssence of the control the authorities have over the mass mind.
After the blood, the death and carnage of war has ended, the enemy returns to the status of ally. The victor then sets about to rebuild the vanquished country's economy with its own limited resources, the diminished state which existed prior to the original diversion of war. It is another reason for the increase of taxes under the guise of "National Interest." The cadre of leaders on both sides of the conflict, the men who brought us into war, still have their positions of power. They seemingly are untouched by the events they have set into motion at the cost of thousands of lives. The only risk they face is the loss of office in the next election. If that should happen, they merely find a non-elective office in government; or they enter the private sector and join one of the contracting corporations who serve and supply government's needs, where they may continue on with business as usual.
This process continues, further diminishing the masses in their collective energies. The schism grows. In time a revolution occurs, bringing on the collapse of the society. Amid the ashes of his destroyed society, man, with an optimistic view, mistakenly begins to construct a new system. He seeks to build a new and different way of life; one which will promise him and his descendants a better future. Unfortunately, man has not yet learned the past lessons of history. That all structures made by the mind are limited, mechanical in nature, and are therefore predictable. The freedom of one man living peacefully and cooperatively with others in his surroundings is the key to the freedom of the entire society. Such a change must begin within the individual and flow out like a ripple from a pebble dropped into a pond. Only when this effortless understanding can be communicated to others in a loving way will society change outwardly. It is the quest for power, the greed and the competitive spirit, with its unbridled ambition, that has blinded man to these lessons.
Let's examine the foundation of the democratic political system; the election process. Again, may I suggest that we leave behind all knowledge we may have gathered of it in the past. We must examine this question as though we knew nothing about it. We start from a point of nothingness. I feel that this is the only way in which one may inquire objectively into anything. Otherwise we shall be bogged down in false starts projected by our own biases and opinions. Surely, by now you can see that truth can never be discovered through the offering and arguing of opinions, for the controversy of taking opposing sides to any issue will keep us trapped within the realm of dualism. It is the very barrier that prevents one from stepping beyond--into the realm where understanding is possible.
One lives somewhere in the country, doing the best he can to provide for himself and his family, doing what he must to survive. He is confused, pressured by so many things. He is dependent upon others for his food, shelter, and employment. All of these things have come about through the thoughts that he holds within his consciousness. He is not aware that these thoughts have been conditioned into him by the authorities who rule the society in which he lives. This conditioning is the structured thought pattern which he soon becomes dependent upon for his security. These thoughts are to him more important than life itself. He has been involuntarily thrust into the world of dualism, the him and the not-him, which he perceives to be the rest of the world. He has lost his self-initiative. He has forgotten that he is the author of his own thoughts, the shaper of his own destiny. He is ignorant of the fact that he is the maker of the world he lives in, that what he has done, he can undo. He looks around and sees everyone to be living in the same state of consciousness. This only re- inforces the existing habitual thought pattern through which his life is seen. He feels hopeless, out of touch. He is unable to find relief anywhere. In comes government, the authority whose very existence is owed to the structure of thought constructed by the mind and held by every citizen. The question repeats itself: Aside from the structure of thought, where does government derive its power? Where is the factual independent substance which exists beyond the mind (that is not a result of a projected thought)? This last question is the key to understanding your relationship with authority. Do not look to another for the answer, see it for yourself. Watch the responses that arise within your consciousness for that is what will lead you to understanding. This personal observation of the truth or falsity of any issue emerging from the subtle dimensions of the mind (if done in a quiet, non-judgmental state of awareness) will shatter the illusions which drain your energy and bring a renewed vitality to all levels of your being.
If one were to see the truth of how one is limited by the conditioned thought pattern that is the mind-set of society, the election process would be seen for the sham that it is. Can you honestly say that you understand anyone, whether it be your father, your mother, sisters, brothers, your husband or wife, your children? Can you even admit that you know or understand yourself? If the answer is no, then what would cause you to place your life, your destiny, into the hands of a politician or political party? What do you know? What can you possibly know of some politician running for office? The information that you have to work with comes to you through imagery, through words via the medium of radio, TV, and newspapers. These images are carefully crafted by mind control experts who will no longer call themselves "Propagandists," but will respond to the name "Spin Doctors." In government, the image is the thing. It is the primary consideration of those experts whose main concern is to assure government's well-being and continued existence. A California public official once confided to me a maxim he had learned in his early days with the FBI. "It doesn't pay to be right, if you don't look right." Does this not say it all? So, having seen all this, where are you? You're still where you are, are you not? Bewildered, and looking for some way out of your confusion. The average voter generally bases his vote on which of the candidates provide the best image that may be identified with, hoping that such identification may assuage or remove the pain of his own personal uncertainty, his confusion. This factor of identification is symptomatic of the pain and relief built into a corrupting system of thought which precludes any freedom for the individual. If the voter lived a whole, balanced, loving life, was self-reliant and cooperative in his dealing with others, would he feel empty, uncertain, confused, needing to identify with something perceived to be greater than oneself so that he may avoid facing his own shallowness, his emptiness? Look to see what comes up within you when you put this question to yourself.

bol: Once we have apprehended someone there is no reason to punish them for the sake of detterrence except to make them a sacrificial lamb to scare other people out of harming others.

Isn't such behavior, designed "to scare other people out of harming others," typically found in the unbalanced relationship of the "blind who lead the blind"? YOU BET!!!
bol: 4. Threat Neutralization (i.e. imprisoment, or death of threats) = Tyranny as bad as crime. When you neutralize a threat, you BECOME a threat.

bol: Rehabilitation is something dealt with separately and is not a "reason" for punishment per se. People have to _choose_ to be rehabilitated. They are not rehabilitated if they are merely temporarily coerced or forced into being better people.
rk: Choice is always an indication of Intellectual confusion. Clarity does not exist in Choice. See clearly. Then tell me, wherein lies the dualistic filter of CHOICE? Your point of rehabilitation is moot. It is likened to forcing square pegs in round holes. They just never seem to fit, do they?

rk: Neither initiate nor submit to harm. Harm is merely the essence of spiritual dissonance (mis)perceived as an element of one's intellectually filtered events called personal problem solving. No one can protect you, nor can they be depended upon to save you in your "personal" time of need, your *moment of Truth*.
rk: The Satanic ruled Legal System founded in the illusory thought structures of Intellectualism creates the element of doubt in minds of victims who've been molded into inert, codependent, fearful but "law-abiding" entities. These entities, subject to long-term, subtle, incremental psychological conditioning, are prohibited from acting for themselves in the split second of NOW where ACTION determines Life and Death. These entities are conditioned to trust, to believe their Salvation will come from outside authorities, (Army, Police, etc). Their delusion would disintegrate instantly were they to realize these Government "hired guns" owe their allegiance -- to protect and defend -- to the System of Government which employs them, NOT to the Citizen.
bol: There's nothing wrong with protecting your or someone else's body or property from someone else. And war is self defense. It should always be regretable to harm people no matter what though. This is my personal morality, and this is all I support.
rk: The question must be asked -- do you act in defense of a concept you have been conditioned to believe in, or do you act because the "moment of Truth" is at hand and the Supreme Intelligence which transcends the realm of petty intellectual thought dictates the action?
