Fair warning about Ray's website. Ray monitors all visitors to his site, and has turned over addresses and ISPs to various government agencies since he's convinced everyone is in on the "AFAB/SKEPTICULT/ROYBOT government/media organized/funded/supported conspiracy" against him. He has already done this to several Usenet patrons, turning over their information to the FBI, CIA, various Congressmen, etc., and demanding the people who visited his site be investigated. No government agency has or will take Ray seriously, for obvious reasons, but anyone logging on to Ray's site should realize he will in fact monitor them and release their names to various agencies when the mood strikes him as part of his extreme mental disorder. In a very real sense, it is normal that a boy of your age (I am thinking you're in high school, or possibly junior high) might think himself to be the center of creation, and above the rest of humankind in terms of intelligence, strength, and power. Your parents have undoubtedly given you this impression, and it is normal, as I say. It is, however, not real, and you need to let go of the pride you display in your posts. The reason you feel so angry is because you feel people should elevate you the way you elevate yourself, but your own words and deeds make this impossible. Perhaps you have a guidance counselor at your school who can refer you for help? Also, it is a good idea for you to get a job or volunteer for work that helps take you out of yourself. If you simply play with the Internet or watch TV after school, you will only becomes more and more self-absorbed, and your problems will exponentially increase as you grow older. Have you spoken with your parents about the troubles you're having? Do you they you post to Internet forums, attacking adults the way you do? I'm sure your parents love you enough to spend some time, energy, and money to get you the counseling you need. I'm sure you're already formulating in your head an angry dismissal of this advice: that too is the nature of adolescent boys. But that very anger is what is eating away at your soul, and making you sicker and sicker as you get older. Some day you will not have your parents and teachers to protect you from problems your arrogance is bound to cause you in adult society, and it is best that you let go of the pride, anger, and violence you display in your posts. I wish you the best Raymond, and sincerely pray that God will help you see past your rage and blindness to grow into a compassionate, intelligence man.

Last night I attended a Cave Junction City Council meeting. The reason -- the second reading of a proposed ordinance governing the removal from private property of that which may be bureacratically termed "inoperable or nuisance vehicles" -- an ordinance which surely fortifies government's confiscation of the private property of its citizens.

My question to the council was not directed to the wording of the ordinance, but to the necessity for such an ordinance given that present state law currently provides for such measures.

I outlined to the council the concern of citizens throughout our country regarding the issue of government encroachment upon the rights of its citizens and mentioned the current high profile issue now underway in the State of Florida.

I simply asked whether the need for such an ordinance came from the "bogey man" New World Order bureaucracy trickling down to the Cave Junction level, or if it came from private citizens living within the community. I specifically asked for the number of individual complaints (excluding multiple complaints from individuals) which caused the council to consider enacting such an ordinance.

The City Administrator did not address the multiple complaint issue, but did state that the total number of complaints received regarding this issue which prompted the need for such an ordinance amounted to NINE (9) complaints in a period of SIX (6) months.

Yes, folks, that's what I said -- a total of 9 complaints in 6 months not even addressing the fact that one or two people may have been the source of the nine complaints. Provocateurs? At this point, your guess is as good as mine.

However, this is the point of observing your government in operation. Without such vigilance, unaware citizens are slowly and incrementally stripped of their Constitutionally guaranteed Rights. From such suspect origins arise laws which will ultimately govern THOUSANDS of people.

And you think you're not being had, eh?

By the way, the council did not adopt the ordinance last night but tabled it for further discussion at a future date.

The lesson to be learned by all this?

Go to your city council and county commissioner meetings. Ask questions of your Community leaders. Questions which are not confined within the narrow parameters set forth by the rulemakers. We may well find that a government of the people, by the people, and for the people may make a reappearance in this country.
